Remulate’s business is to provide loans to businesses. The personal data we collect and process is part of the process which enables us to decide whether to lend to a business; the amount and other terms. The personal data we collect is restricted to the

  • dates of birth
  • specimen signatures 
  • identification documents such as a passport.

of the directors and significant shareholders of those companies that approach us requesting borrowing. This is information that is given to us by you. We will verify that personal data about you from various third parties and public sources for example Companies House, open banking and credit agencies.

Our website will collect the IP addresses of visitors. As you interact with our website, we will automatically collect technical data about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns. 3. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA AND THE LAWFUL BASIS

We will use your personal data to perform the contract which although you are not a party to you have as an agent of the client authorised the client to enter into.

We have a legal obligation to process and retain this personal data as part of our financial records and ledgers. We may have to disclose this information to regulators; HMRC or law enforcement bodies.

It is in our legitimate interests as a data controller to process this personal data as the processing is strictly restricted to the purposes listed above and uses information which is in the public domain.

We do not rely on consent as a legal basis for processing your personal data. It is in our legitimate interest to send to you information regarding our services. At any time you have the right to request that we no longer include you in our marketing campaigns.

  • We will retain your email address and mobile number for marketing for a period of time that we consider appropriate. This will be determined by the responses from receive people who have not dealt with us for a certain amount of time. As stated above you will have the right to “unsubscribe” but this right is limited to your email and mobile number and does not extend to the data referred to above.
  • We may retain your personal data for a longer period in the event of a complaint or if we reasonably believe there is a prospect of litigation in respect to our relationship with you.
